Weeks have passed, and finally, Mr Kwei's coming back next Friday! Okay uh, HuaFeiHua sounds better now, and so does Shackleton. Now, we just have to work on our newest song. Oh, and I don't know why does the bass overall sound sound so flat. Gna work on it soon.

O.o This is cool. Haha. The Sec4s'08 have stepped down already, so uh, anyway. Junwei and I are the new section leaders! xD. Okay, I'll try to update whenever possible la, but I'm a noob blogger, so forgive me okay? xD. Nothing much to blog I think. Anyway, for those who don't know, we have been doing a few songs lately:

-Shalom Chaverim
-Shackleton
-Hua Fei Hua (CHINESE OMG -.-)

Okay, uh, not much problem with Shalom Chaverim la. Quite an easy song. Shackleton is improving I think, and as for HuaFeiHua, we still have to work on it a little more yeah? I know its quite high for the basses, but we can do it one! xD. Anyway, some things to take note of:

-Thursday, 2.30-4.00pm, Vocal Training.
-Friday, Performance for China people after Choir. (selected people only)
So, yeah. We must jiayou uh people! Don't forget our goal : SYF'09 Gold w/ honours. xD. Forza coro~!(For choir!)

I have to say, some of the lower-sec Basses know the songs already. The half I was doing had the feel of Yver, and could do dynamics at the most obvious points without instruction. Problem is sometimes they overdo it with the `piano` parts. 'cording to Jos, they were the better half.

Anyway, for Yver, since that's what we were doing, this blog happens to have a lot of details for that song. Read through this blog, till the first post, and understand what is being said.

Louder on the first part. We're already soft enough to begin with due to the fact that it's "high" (even though it's not really as high as you think it is), need to produce more. Personally, I feel that those notes are blastable, with sufficient support + air.

Note dynamics, but NEVER overdo `piano`. Soft doesn't mean literally soft, it's more of a relative term.

Nothing much to say, since I can't polish the song yet, just remember the points above.

Sorry for not updating this blog for so long... Anyway I hope to see TKChoir obtain Gold With Honours! It is possible if you guys work hard enough! Jia you! You goal should always be the Gold With Honours! I'm not sure what's going on in TKchoir now and I heard lots of people starting to find choir a bore again... No doubt but give your best man... At least for Mr Kwei! I heard from Ryan there some new comers to Bass welcome anyway and well if anyone still reads this blog this read this often alright? Cause after my O's i'll be blogging here rather often! Maybe if I like, I'll go back and see you guys train! =) hahas!

Well lets keep this short and sweet shall we?

Yver basically Yver is a difficult song... apart from the words, pitching is also very important...
Do watch out :

-the notes which comes in threes... Cause Mr Kwei may wanna sing them in an odd way you guys not accustomed to...

-the extreme high notes Basses are not use to

-volume control

-colour of the tone

-most of all MUST know your parts well cause Bass has their own solo line if you all are not sure you may end up facing your greatest revelation: MR KWEI... :)

Well the good news is that if you guys does it well... The gold with honours is guranteed~ :) This song maybe hard but it is a scoring song becos of it's arrangements and it's intersting musicality in it... :) Cheers people!
